All my son wanted for his 14th birthday was this rod! We ordered and he was so excited waiting for it's arrival. Unfortunately, the box arrived smashed. Once opened, we found the bail was broken. No big deal, I assured him, things sometimes happen and we can quickly send it back for an exchange. BOY WAS I WRONG! I promptly emailed Pflueger about my issue. No response. I then went online and filled out a return request. Once I saw my return request was approved, I checked me email for the return label with no luck. I then emailed Pflueger again requesting the return label, again, NO RESPONSE. A few days later, I called Pflueger. After waiting for a while, a pre-recorded system came on and I left a detailed message. Still, I received No call back! I have since called and emailed numerous times within the past 2.5 weeks, trying to get this resolved as my 30 day return window is fast approaching. I have received ZERO responses from Pflueger and am extremely frustrated with the whole process! This is by far THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever dealt with and would not recommend ordering anything from this company.

I was using my rod with no issue then on the 4th fish caught that day (approx. 12" rainbow), the rod broke at the 4th eyelet down. Combo was purchased September 2024 and was not used until April 2025. I sent two inquires on Pflueger website, contacted the support email, and called customer service number countless times with no answer and left several messages and have yet to be contacted back. I did really like the combo and was hoping to get some sort of warranty consideration, but the lack of customer support has me flabbergasted.

Went fishing with a buddy, hooked on to a fish and went to set the hook and the rod snapped a little bit above the second eyelid
