Terrible reel Terrible customer service. Received borken and contacted customer service via email and no response. Used to be a big user of their products. Have gone downhill. This was simply a pond reel for kids, they are disappointed and so am I…Should have listened to prior reviews. I guess I have to go to my credit card company to get attention since ZERO replies from Pflueger. You are losing a customer with actions like these who buys higher end products…..

I purchased 6 of these release this summer we had multiple out of town guests to take fishing for a day. Out of the 6 reels 2 failed within 100 casts- serious malfunctions rendering the reel useless. I fear that the others will also fail. I requested a refund or replacement reel/s and Pflueger has totally ignored my request. Could it be that this company like so many others are building junk and having to discount just to get them fc the shelf ?

I've used this reel extensively and prefer it over the latest Zebco Platinum which is a good reel but for me has a habit of hanging up on the cast.

Peice of junk bought them for grandkids knots up cuts the line. The newer reels are a lot better so far no problems. Pflueger should be ashamed for putting out a reel like that
