Bail Roller
After 6 weeks the bail roller has a line groove cut through it. I feel a reel of this supposed quality should be able to handle 8# braided line w/o problems. I've used Presidents (standard) for years with no issues!

Pflueger? Never again! Penn#1
While back I bought a pflueger, dropped it into a small pool of fresh water the day that I bought it. It totally locked up immediately. I called pflueger and the preson basically told me to pound sand , you own it now!
Had a strange small issue with a Penn Spinfisher VI, and called Penn. They treated me like gold and kept records and 100% fixed the issue. Impressive. Penn fan-boy from now on.
How on Gods green can both be owned by Pure Fishing?
Avoid Pflueger....stick with Penn

High quality premium feel
After years of ultralight fishing 4-5 times a week I figured it was time to upgrade from my beat up monarch and actually get a nice reel. So glad I went with this one. Feels smooth, solid, love the magnesium body. I wish the handle was cork but it's just a great reel

Extremely smooth. Needs new handle.
Very smooth, but the handle will break off in a couple months. The carbon handle needs to be an aluminum handle.
