I purchased this combo back in January this year. Fished great up until now, even caught my pb bass of 7lbs on it. Recently, issues with the drag on the reel have came up, and with the spool being very difficult to put back onto the rotor. The drag would tighten down fully, but line would still spool out quickly. Also, the rod fell and broke while I was troubleshooting this issue, making the problem even worse. This isn't really a big issue, but I've noticed that the handle is WAY too difficult to put back onto the reel, and takes me about five minutes to get it right. The rod and reel handles amazing for the first part of owning it, but its longevity is not so great. However, for 95 dollars on sale, it did meet my expectation, but I will probably never by another Pflueger again after my experience with this one. This might be just an issue for me, but is a thing to look out for when buying this product. Finally, I've been waiting a week for customer service to reply, and still nothing. I even sent them a second email. Will be most likely buying a Carbon lite combo from bass pro soon.

Not sure where to start, but I contacted customer support back in May and still waiting for replacement,since my rod snapped while was used only for 2 days to fish trout, so I called but no answer, emailed and got response, then they sent me a half a rod, not both pieces, and then I email back, he stated that will reship the complete rod but never responded to last email nor I received the new one. If I have to tell you about possibilities of talking to someone from customer support over the phone that is not possible, you wait for 5 minutes on a hold, and then you can leave a message so they will call you back, guess what never ever got any calls back, so in my life I never had this happen with any company, that you can not even reach them. What kind of customer service is that, when you need something they are not anywhere to find. Responds to emails are so late also, you have to wait days. So I am really frustrated with the whole situation, can not believe how the customer is treated, and not sure what to do, so I am asking now is there anyone in this company available to help? I attached few photos just for references and if I need to show all of the emails I sent, I am happy to do that too. On the other side, I do love the combo and would be happy if my issue can be resolved because it is already a month since it broke and I reached out for help, and my next trip to fish is coming over the 4th of July weekend, but I have no rod ; (
